Booking and payment terms and conditions for Ethiopia Car Rental Company, King Dawit Tours Ethiopia.
The terms and conditions set forth on this page apply to any car rental service provided for you, “the Customer,” by King Dawit Tours Ethiopia, “the car rental service provider.”
Deposits for vehicle rentals:
A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking any of our vehicles, with the remaining payment due 45 days before to the Customer’s arrival in Ethiopia.
When reserving less than 45 days before the commencement of the car rental service, 70% of the total payment must be made at the time of booking.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation charges will be imposed if the reservation is canceled. The charge will be calculated at the following rate: Full refund if cancelation made 45 days in advance; 75 percent refund if canceled 30 to 45 days in advance; 50 percent refund if cancelled 15 to 30 days in advance; and 25% refund if cancelled less than 15 days in advance.
Route modifications/vehicle substitutions:
The rental arrangement is taken care of by the service provider. Unforeseen events (natural disasters, security issues, temporary limits imposed by local authorities, etc.) may force revisions, and the Service Provider accepts no responsibility for such route changes or property substitutions. They will be substituted where properties are substituted.
Liability:
The Service Provider is not responsible for any losses, damages, or expenses incurred by the Customer as a consequence of illness, quarantine, weather conditions, or any other reason beyond the Service Provider’s control. When these losses are proven to be the result of the Service Provider’s deliberate act or gross carelessness with appropriate evidence, the Service Provider compensates the customer.
